COVID-19: Government Financial Support
Government financial support is available for businesses during this unprecedented time that we find ourselves in.
Firstly, the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS) can provide loans of up to £5m for smaller business across the UK. In addition, the UK Governement has given funding to local authorities in order to supply business with two different types of grant funding:
- Small business grants fund
- Retail, hospitality and leisure grants fund

Futhermore, following last week's announcement to keep social distancing measures in place the Chancellor announced that the UK Government will be extending its job retention scheme until the end of June. HMRC has now opened its online portal and it is now accessible for claims to be submitted. For payments to be made by 30 April, claims must be made by 22 April.
