Selling Your Home

Our procedure is as follows:


One of our experienced property professionals will carry out a consultation with you.

We will provide you with a detailed market analysis tailored specifically for your property. We will then agree on the best proactive strategy to achieve the optimum price to suit your financial and timing needs.

We will then follow up with a valuation letter and supporting comparable information.

Property Marketing

Once you decide that you wish to go ahead with the marketing of the property, we will issue a vendor contract for you to sign. This should be returned along with identification and proof of ownership of the property, prior to the commencement of marketing.

Your Dedicated Negotiator

You will be assigned a negotiator as your main point of contact with Dorset Property. Your negotiator will be responsible for managing the sale of your property.

Professionally Designed Brochure

We will arrange for professional photographs to be taken, together with a floor plan and an EPC (if required). Your brochure will then be prepared and forwarded to you for approval.

Unique Dorset Property Investor Landlords Service

Once approved, shortly before the property is placed on the open market, the brochure will be circulated to the Dorset Property database of investor landlords. This offers a significant additional potential market - unique to Dorset Property clients.

Property Marketing Plan

Prior to the property being marketed, your negotiator will provide you with a Property Marketing Plan, which will be reviewed and discussed and, where appropriate, updated weekly.

Your property will be listed on all of the major portals including Rightmove and Zoopla. The property will also be featured in our extensive and on-going local media advertising. Additional marketing initiatives will be discussed as part of the evolving Property Marketing Plan.


We will arrange and carry out all viewings (unless previously agreed otherwise) and give you a weekly update on progress as a minimum.

The Sale

Dorset Property will handle all negotiation between you and the purchaser to secure the best possible outcome for you.

Once a sale has been agreed Subject to Contract, your negotiator will handle the progression of the sales until completion.
